Pins for Project Crimson
ROUND TABLE FAMILY
Jill Harris, our International Officer, is raising funds for the joint Ladies Circle and Tangent International charity project – Project Crimson. This was setup to fight Period Poverty in rural India by providing machines and material to produce sanitary napkins to groups of women. They not only create a supply of sanitary products but also create a way for the women to support themselves and their families.
Educating, breaking old stigmas and making a real change in women’s lives.
“I have a great response from all the GB&I Round Table family clubs with donations of pins and buying of raffle tickets and yesterday got an email from a Round Tabler I know in Germany saying my charity initiative is being advertised on their Facebook site”. The pins will be added to t-shirts and auctioned off to raise money for the charity.
